Saad Yousaf
Saad Yousaf has done his masters in Social Sciences with a sound academic record including an honor of gold medal in graduation. He has over 10 years of experience of Project management in the field of Social Mobilization, Good Governance, Sustainable Development and Organizational Development and has managed over 70 projects (small, medium and large scale). The projects were managed right from designing, their implementation and reporting successfully. He has hands on experience in strategic planning of various organizations in Pakistan and have developed various long term Strategic Plans. Mr. Saad has also been a focal person of dealing matters including reporting and networking and (statistical and narrative) to a variety of donors including Oxfam Novib, CIDA, Canadian Hunger Foundation, Royal Netherlands Embassy, Royal Norwegian Embassy etc.Mr. Saad Yousaf has the credit of establishing an automated system of organizing the field learning into an efficient and effective knowledge management and learning system. In this system, a large pool of data is being organized effectively and the whole software presents various analytical reports needed for all tiers of the management and donors. The system has the flexibility to adjust according to the priority of donors and needs of the organization. The system as practiced by Sungi Development Foundation could be considered as one of the efficient M&E systems for development sector in Pakistan. He has also conducted various baselines and situation assessments. The largest assessment he has conducted was of more than 700 villages in 4 districts. He is a renowned facilitator is the development sector and has conducted various training courses of Participatory Reflection and Action, Project Management, Communication and Presentation Skill and various other soft skills.
Above all he is a keen learner and possesses a flexible personality. He believe that each day is a new day and new life starts where a person likes new things. Currently, Saad Yousaf is working in Islamic Aid as a Team Leader of Pakistan Programme. A part from that, he has also established his own consultancy firm “Alternate Solutions” in Pakistan and has undertaken numerous consultancies in the development as well as corporate sector.
